BetaBeta Cottage is a functioning artists’ residence on Galiano Island, British Columbia. For the last 20 years, it has been a refuge for varying periods to educators, scholars, artists, and architects.
Beta Cottage was founded by art educators Kit Grauer, and Peter Scurr. through which the legacy of their work is creatively preserved.
Getting Here
Galiano Island‘s ferry wharf is located at Sturdies Bay, and accommodates foot passengers and vehicle traffic from the Tsawassen ferry terminal on the mainland, and the Swartz Bay terminal on Vancouver Island

Reservations to Galiano from the mainland are strongly recommended, but Swartz Bay does not take reservations to the Southern Gulf Islands. Make sure to arrive at the terminal well in advance.
