Beta Cottage Backs onto a Seasonal stream and wetland.
The Beta Cottage Trail system winds through tall grasses and cedar groves. Behind the field, you’ll see two large rocks that mark the beginning of the trails. The main trail is a loop that connects Paradise Care home to Beta Cottage, and you’ll find some camp sites and interconnecting trails along the way.

Bluffs park is a nearby trail system that is an island favorite, Acessible by vehicle.
Montague Provincial Park is a level walking trail with beach access.
A 10-minute drive from Beta Cottage, Montague Harbour is on the west side of the island, just north of the south end. It is a popular gathering place for visitors and locals, featuring a parking lot, camping, a boat launch, and a picnic area.
